Amy and Ron Schmidt have teamed up to create a delightful book! The photos are funny and adorable; even a non-dog lover will smile. My 3rd-grade students loved the poems, and I loved the fact that Amy used various types of poetry (Haiku, alliteration, acrostic, etc.)--perfect for introducing poetry to my classroom. After I shared it, the students begged to take it home to share with their family. I highly recommend this darling book.
