BEHIND THE SCENE - BRUCE
If you look closely, you'll find that heroes are all around us!

The concept was to find a small dog who was big on attitude. This handsome Frenchie fit the bill. I wanted the dog to look like a super hero, surveying over his dog park, ready to defend the defenseless. To achieve the right perspective for the shoot, I built a small platform since I needed a VERY low angle and would actually be shooting from underneath the dog. A superhero most definitely needs a cape so I thought a passing cloud, when lined up perfectly, would reveal our champion. I shot clouds over the span of a month which gave me a nice collection to choose from. The winning cloud, with a little help in post, fit just right. Now...off to save the day!
